I love this hat (and I hate hats). It keeps my thick pony tail in place and the brim is wide. Hat overall is comfortable and breathes well.

This hat has so many great features and I love it for hiking trips. To keep it on when conditions are windy, I tie the strap under my chin and this resolves the issue. Because there is no brim in the back, you can wear it in the car with your head on the headrest, and when hiking you can pull a hoodie over the top for extra warmth and wind protection. I tried many different hats over the years, and am grateful to have found this hat which provides a deep brim, a comfortable fit, and a versatile style. Thanks, Sunday Afternoons!

I am loving this hat! I have a large head and disagree with another reviewer who said it’s not good for those with large heads. The M/L size fits me very comfortably! I love the feminine touch of the tie in the back, and the wide brim all around makes it perfect for gardening. All the coverage of a wide-brim style, with the convenience of a baseball cap (no brim in back). The contrasting pattern on the underside is a fun touch, and it’s so comfy, I’m going back for a second color, maybe coral! I like the off-white color of the opal with the contrasting black, and the stitching on the brim adds a nice little detail. Highly recommend it.

I’m at hat person. If I’m outside, I’m wearing one. I’ve all kinds of hats, fabric and straw, wide brimmed and shallow, and this one is the best. First off, if the silhouette of that hat suits you it’s very flattering. This hat looks great with my head/face shape.
It’s light and breathable, which matters here in FL. Very comfortable with the small amount of stretch if offers. Pony tail hole is a huge plus. I have a larger head, I think, as many stuff women’s hats are a tad too small. But this one fits perfectly.
There is no chin strap, so it’s not really feasible on a boat or when it’s super windy. That’s my only complaint. A snap away chin strap would make it perfect.

I love this hat! I bought it to wear in my yard and swim. It keeps the sun off my face and ears and shades my eyes. The lightweight fabric makes the hat much more comfortable on hot days.

I am in love with my new Sun Hat. I’ve purchased another much like it except it has material that covers the back of the neck. This one doesn’t but I don’t mind and actually kinda like it without the tail. It has the usual opening for my pony tail and the brim is a little wider, which I like. I love the Salmon color; my other is the Turquoise. This Hat travels well as I take it everywhere. I don’t like to fold it in half because it wrinkles the brim, but it does lay flat easily and fits inside my Fossil Tote bag without constriction. Thanks SunDay for another great Hat.

I am very pleased with the quality, fit, and style! It certainly isn’t snug on my head and probably won’t stay on in any strong wind gusts, but I find it very comfortable for low activity outings. My head circumference is 21 1/2″

I was careful to be sure this hat would fit me. Since the catalog entry includes a “will fit” size range, this was easy to do. While the elastic in the back is not strong enough to make the snug fit I prefer, I was able to retie the bow to make it fit “just right.” I haven’t worn it in much more than a stiff breeze yet, but so far it seems almost as secure as the visor I have worn for years.
I wear it for golf, and am very pleased. I needed to get the crown of my head covered, and had trouble finding a cap-style hat that had a large enough brim. This fits the bill, comes in a variety of colors, and has a touch of femininity, too.

I was looking for a “cute” full-coverage hat I could wear while playing golf. This is perfect! I love the bow in the back for a more feminine look and the hat provides coverage for the top of my head, full face and ears.

This is an exceptionally well made hat. Plus it is beautiful and provides efficient sun protection. The material is light and does not lead to “hat hair” even in South Florida. The ponytail hole is an added feature that helps it stay on in breezy conditions. Every time I wear it I am asked “where did you buy your hat?”You just can’t go wrong with a Sunday Afternoons purchase!

I really like this hat! I’m generally not a hat person but have to start wearing them due to skin cancer. The hat fits well, offers good coverage from the sun, and looks good! I only wish there was a way to keep it on on windy days!

I bought this hat for my mother, who needed one with a wide brim for playing golf in Florida. She loves the shape of the brim and the fabric, which is light but also sun-blocking. The brim’s dark underside also reduces glare because it doesn’t reflect light bouncing off the ground. However, the elastic in the back is not tight and even when she tied the bow in the back, the hat would fly off when it is windy. Luckily, she is quite good at sewing and she attached a broad ribbon to the inner rim of the hat which she can tie in the back to make the hat fit more closely, or even tie the ends under her chin if it’s extremely windy. She attributed the loose fit to her having a small-ish head, and the product is described as being a medium/large fit, so it is not a total surprise. In any case, she loves it and it looks good!

I love this hat!….so much so, I purchased another one to trade off with. It took me awhile to find the exact hat I was looking for with a very wide brim covering my face and ears. I was happy to know that this hat has UV protection from the sun and the chlorine water inside the pool would not cause discoloration in the hat. I instruct water aerobics, and I have received so many compliments and wanting to know where I bought my hat. “Sunday Afternoons”. I tell them.

Loved this hat for sitting in a high back lounge chair at the lake. Has a wide brim for great facial sun protection. My only wish is that it had some type of elastic chin strap that could be tucked up when not needed, but could be used when there’s a breeze. I had to chase my hat a couple of times or hold it down on my head.
