I bought this hat in the hopes of adding some Boho chic to my gardening. Festival wear this ain’t. I look pretty dorky when I garden to begin with; this does not do anything to improve my image. My teen will not let me wear it out elsewhere, like to the pool or beach. While the diameter of the hat is good, the head bowl is a little taller than my head so it looks more like a bowler than a cowboy hat. On the plus sides, its functionality is just what I needed – more sun coverage, good price. The brim is bendy and stays put in the shape I make. I might sew or glue a permanent dimple in the top of the bowl so it’s more cowboy-y. I am keeping the hat. I only wear when gardening, and keep it hanging it in my garage.

The hat is a nice color and the style is also nice. The sides, however, were rolled up and I wasn’t sure if they could be rolled down for more coverage. Also, when I put it on, I felt pain on the top of my head which seemed strange. I felt the inside of the hat and there were small spikes sticking out of the hat. I’m not sure why they were there, but I returned it right away.

Sunday Afternoons hit it out of the park with this hat – the perfect blend of functional and stylish. Super comfortable, very stylish. It’s very hard to find a cowboy hat that’s not too big and floppy, and this is just perfect. It soft and comfortable, and honestly it feels like something I’ve had for years, not weeks.
I’m a dude, and I have a huge head (over 24″) and despite the fact that I’m bigger than the recommended size for the large, it fits me perfectly.

I got the medium and it fits a little loose, I’d say I have an average size head. If had “big hair” it would fit better. I get compliments on it when I wear it. It’s “western” style enough to pass as a cowgirl/cowboy hat. If it gets bent out of shape, you just adjust it with the wires, perfect.

I absolutely love this hat. It is comfortable, adjustable, stays on when the wind is windy and looks great. I wanted a cowgirl hat and a sun hat for gardening, this is the perfect combo. I was worried it would be too big since the smallest size they have is medium but it can be adjusted (comfortably). It is also lightweight and cool for those sunny days.

I love the hat. The wire rim makes it adjustable and keeps it from blowing up in the wind. I am between sizes, so I ordered up because I wanted it loose. I was able to tighten a little and it is perfect. I have Lupus and NEEDED a good UV hat!

Great hat! Fits my giant head with room to spare, but easily tightened with the outer band. Chin strap kept hat firmly in place on the boat. Love it. Had bought one in a different color at a brick and mortar store and came here to get another in a different color. I have the denim and the cinnamon. My husband even thinks it looks nice 🙂
